What is Tissue Culture?
Tissue culture is a way of growing plants from tiny pieces of plants, known as explants, in a special nutrient solution within a controlled, sterile environment. It’s like giving a plant a super clean nursery to start their growth strong and healthy.
Through tissue culture, we're able to produce highly sought-after plants faster than traditional propagation, making even those hard-to-grow and elusive varieties more accessible.
Start small, watch them thrive, and enjoy the journey.

Ready to get started?
Plants in tissue culture are grown 'in vitro', literally: 'in glass', and require a transition period so they can adapt to life outside of their glass jar.
The most challenging part of tissue culture is done in our lab where we create sterile conditions for initial growth and rooting. We sell plants at a stage when they are stronger and most of the risk has been eliminated, so they’re a lot easier to care for and acclimate.

Prefer an easier option?
If you're not ready to experiment with tissue culture just yet, prefer plants that don't require as much work, or are just looking for something bigger, we also sell established plants too.
They're a mixture of tissue culture plants that have already gone through the acclimation stage, and plants grown through traditional propagation.
